Refund Policy

We stand behind KeywordOrbit. If something is broken or not as described, we'll make it right. Outside of those cases, the rules below describe when refunds are and are not available.
This Refund Policy forms part of, and is governed by, the Terms of Service, including the limitation of liability, governing law, and dispute-resolution provisions in those Terms.
$1 7-Day Trial
KeywordOrbit offers a $1 trial for 7 days. The trial includes full access to all features and a limited allocation of credits so you can evaluate the Software. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. On day 8, the trial automatically converts to a paid subscription (the plan you selected at sign-up) and your card will be charged the applicable subscription rate unless you cancel before the trial ends.
The $1 trial fee is non-refundable. If you cancel before day 8 you will not be charged the subscription fee. If you do not cancel and are charged for the subscription on day 8, the refund rules for your chosen plan (below) apply to that charge.
Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscription charges are non-refundable once the billing cycle begins. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again.
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Software and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable time, we may issue a prorated refund at our discretion.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase or renewal, provided that fewer than 10% of the annual credit allocation has been consumed. After 14 days or once significant credit usage has occurred, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. Annual credits are issued upfront at the start of the term and expire at the end of the annual term; unused annual credits are not refundable or transferable.
Lifetime License
Lifetime license purchases are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided that fewer than 10,000 of the included credits have been consumed. After 14 days or after significant credit usage, lifetime licenses are non-refundable. Lifetime licenses include a one-time credit allocation; additional credits can be purchased as credit packs.
Credit Packs
Credit packs are non-refundable once purchased. Unused credit pack credits remain in your account and do not expire while your account remains active. Credits consumed on search volume lookups or other paid API calls cannot be returned or refunded.
Credits Are Non-Refundable Once Consumed
Credits have no cash value. Once a credit has been spent on a search volume lookup or any other metered action, it cannot be refunded, reissued, or converted to cash. If you believe credits were consumed in error due to a bug or outage, contact us and we will investigate and, where appropriate, restore credits to your account.
How to Request a Refund
Email contact@keywordorbit.com with your order number and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Paddle (our payment processor and merchant of record) and typically appear in your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Chargebacks
Please contact us at contact@keywordorbit.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. We are happy to resolve billing issues directly and quickly. Accounts with unresolved or fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended or terminated, any active licenses or remaining credits forfeited, and we may pursue recovery of the disputed amount, related fees, and reasonable costs of collection. Initiating a chargeback for a charge you authorized (including a renewal disclosed at sign-up) constitutes a material breach of the Terms of Service.
Consumer Rights — EU, UK, and Other Jurisdictions
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any statutory right or remedy that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase. By starting your trial, downloading the Software, or otherwise beginning to use the Software (or consuming credits) before the end of that 14-day period, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal will be lost once performance has begun and is fully provided, and (in the case of credits) to the extent credits have been consumed. To the extent any withdrawal right remains exercisable, contact us within the applicable period.
Australian consumers retain rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Quebec consumers retain rights under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act that cannot be excluded. Where mandatory consumer rights conflict with this Policy, those rights apply and the conflicting provisions of this Policy do not apply to you, but the rest of this Policy remains in effect.
Discretionary Refunds
Refunds outside the cases described above are at our sole discretion and, where granted, do not establish a course of dealing or any obligation to grant similar refunds in the future. Repeated refund requests, abuse of the trial, or use followed by refund may, at our discretion, result in account suspension and ineligibility for future trials or promotions.
