Where do the keywords come from?
Live from Google Autocomplete: the searches Google suggests to real people as they type. KeywordOrbit types your seed with every letter and digit after it (suffix) or before it (prefix), up to three characters deep. Search volume and CPC come from Google Keyword Planner through your own Google Ads account, or from KeywordOrbit's API credits.
How does the free trial work?
Download the app and start the trial inside it with just an email. You get 7 days of everything: every depth, Planner-mode volume, clustering, filters and export. API credits aren't part of the trial. After 7 days the app stays free with limits (1 seed keyword, depth 1). Nothing is ever charged, because there's no card on file.
What happens when the trial ends?
The app switches to the free version: 1 seed keyword per run, depth 1, Planner-mode volume still included. Your projects and settings stay as they are. One $97 payment unlocks everything again, for good.
Do I need a Google Ads account?
No. Autocomplete works without any Google account, and API credits give you search volume without one too. A free Google Ads account (you don't have to run ads) unlocks Planner mode at no cost. On accounts without ad spend, Google shows volume as ranges like 1K–10K; exact numbers and monthly trends need an account with spend, or API credits.
Is it safe to connect my Google Ads account?
You sign in on Google's own sign-in page, inside the app. Your password goes only to Google, never to KeywordOrbit. The app keeps the session on your computer to read Keyword Planner, and Disconnect signs it out.
What are credits for?
Credits pay for search volume through KeywordOrbit's API, for when you don't want to use a Google Ads account. 1 credit = 1 keyword, with a minimum of 1,000 credits per lookup. They're sold as one-time packs and never expire. Planner mode never uses credits.
Does it work on Windows and Mac?
Yes. Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), and macOS 12 or later on Apple silicon and Intel. The Windows app is signed and the Mac app is notarized by Apple, so you won't see security warnings, and updates install themselves.
Where is my data kept?
On your computer. Your keyword lists, results and projects are saved locally, with no cloud account and no sync. Autocomplete and Keyword Planner requests go straight from your computer to Google. The app checks your license with KeywordOrbit's server, and API-mode lookups pass through it to the data provider without being stored.
